The 32-year-old actress carried a vintage typewriter in the scene she was filming. This week's all-new episode of New Girl, called "Fancyman, Part 1," is about Jess (Deschanel) reluctantly dating the wealthy father of one of her students. New Girl airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Fox.
