The next MUSE in our series: the ever-adorable Zooey Deschanel. Born in Los Angeles to a showbiz family, Zooey is as beautiful and talented as one might expect from someone born in Los Angeles to a showbiz family. However, she is singular and standout amongst the starlets of Hollywood. Gorgeous, but not at all cookie-cutter, quirky and funny, she's also wonderfully multitalented. In addition to being an actress, she can sing like a vintage dream, and play instruments from the piano to the ukulele. She's not the vamp or the bimbo, she's the "manic pixie dream girl", always smiling and cheerful and doing her best to make others to the same.
We loved her in "Almost Famous", "Elf" and "(500) Days of Summer", and are currently enjoying her on TV in "New Girl".
